Once old enough to understand, Manpreet decides to become the son her mother needs and suppresses the girl in her.

Years later Shravan meets with a poor young woman, Paramjit alias Paro and both fall in love leading to marriage.

When Amba finds out, she tries to kill Raj but Manpreet dresses up as a bride and takes Raj to a temple to marry her. Enraged at not willing anything to his three sons, Thade, Dara and Chhote, Dulla confronts his father which leads to an argument leading to violence and Kishan is killed in the process. With no one to claim their rights on Shravan's land, this leaves the way clear for Dulla and his three sons to take control of this land, but Paro will not permit this to happen and the only way she can prevent this is by giving birth to an heir, so she confronts Gajjan to remarry her younger sister, Shibo but there is a short-coming involved as Shibo is in love with a young man, Bhinder and wants to marry only him. Manpreet meets an older man named Jai and even thinks to match make Amba with him but he dies in an accident. The plot is similar in quite a few aspects to the Ram Gopal Varma films, Sarkar (2005) and Sarkar Raj (2008). A grown-up Raj returns to the village and falls in love with Manpreet not knowing her identity. A confrontation ensues during which Mohini secretly shoots Raman and Harjeet shoots Simran. Enter Mohini, Jai's friend from his former life who loves Jai dearly. Mohini brings Chandar back into their lives to have Simran remarried. The series ends with Manpreet teaching Payal, Rakshit, Mahima and Aarav that there is no difference between men and women. Manpreet tends to prefer feminine things like her sisters Simran and Gunjan. Raj supports Manpreet in making Amba as the leader of Pawaniyas. The Episode starts with pandit doing puja.
The title track of the series have been sung by Nooran Sisters.
They fail to prove Manpreet's innocence because of Mohini's plans.
