To fix this problem, I switched to WIFI and Z-wave outlets...they do not seem to experience the same problem. All I had to do was screw them into the fixture I wanted to use, turn the light on, open Smartthings and ask it lo look for devices and within a matter of short seconds, the bulbs were indicating that they were connecting to the hub and viola, I was done. The dimming is not bad but I wish the low end can be dimmer.
