Having seen a good number, I find the present one different from any of the others. The film moves through Kolkata with the eyes of Sidhartha mainly as an unemployed youth. There are few twists and turns in the plot, but each scene unpeels a layer of Siddhartha's character, or shines a light on some little aspect of his city.
