I don't know why I watch the whole thing, I think I just assumed that there would surely be some point to it. Hooray for a equality. Allie (the character) finds herself getting jealous when the new couple start to date. Easily one of the most cringeworthy movies I have watched. Such a fun girls film :) Was this review helpful? So nice to see first, a contemporary romantic comedy and second one about female friendship. I didn't realize until I was watching it that she wanted confirmation that it was as horrible as she thought it was.
What is the point of every other word in the first two minutes of the movie being all profane (FOR NO REASON???) What a flop! When a quick-witted but co-dependent college girl helps her best friend land a boyfriend, she's left on the outside looking in and is forced to deal with the realities of adulthood for the first time.
Netflix supports the Digital Advertising Alliance principles. Lady-Like follows Allie (Simbari), who is simultaneously a hilarious loudmouth and brilliant introvert, as she struggles to find her place at a prestigious university. Looks at a picture on the wall of a whale in the ocean with a cesna plane flying above. Not even close. 7 out of 12 found this helpful. I hope no one actually got PAID for any part of this film. Nile (Kiki Layne) is a marine stationed in Afghanistan, who was killed during a mission but miraculously healed. It is practically what happens amongst us; the gossips, the fun, the crushing, the secret lies...I think it is a wonderful movie to pass time with.
