This keyboard is a great mechanical keyboard, especially for the price. I have the brown switch version and it's just killer on my gaming, work and just day to day use. I was a bit hesitant to buy this keyboard because I was unfamiliar with the brand and it was such a low cost keyboard...BUT it turned out to be a FANTASTIC buy!
While the 7 is apparently gone forever, but this 8+ seems every bit as good, and hopefully better. I have nothing bad to say except I wish I would have bought the back-lit one for the extra "cool" factor. For the person(s) complaining about not getting this mouse pad to unroll flat, be smarter than the mouse pad, roll it up the opposite way it was rolled and stick it back in the box for a while, pull it out and it will lay flat, that easy, thank me later
