The looks and colour scheme on top of the head divided opinion among our testers, with some liking the modern looks and others put off by the red line on the crown.It was a little longer than the equivalent R9 driver but the longer shaft did mean a little less directional consistency. The clubhead is big - and that has its benefits - but does it need to look quite so big?The longers shaft also seems to draw attention to the larger clubhead and I think I'd have to use this club for a while before I become totally comfortable with it at address.But looks, as we're always told, aren't everything. I can proudly say i can drive 250-270 sometimes 300 with the wind at my back. With the senior shaft in this SuperFast I am able to hit many very straight drives and get out to between 220 to 250. At around $299.00, it is nicely priced for clubs of this style.The TaylorMade Burner 460cc sits well behind the ball and it does look good and gives you that bit of confidence to go after it. The Burner only comes in 9.5 and 10.5 (and HT) along with a 49 gram head with a deep face. The 460cc club head has a distinctive rounded toe and raised centre crown. It gets the ball up, but probably a bit to high for me. The TaylorMade Burner 460cc driver is very easy to hit and get airborne. To help with this, the Burner Superfast driver also has TaylorMade's largest face they have ever made on a driver and combined with the inverted cone technology, the extra forgiveness does well to keep the ball on the straight and narrow.We found the performance to be very good with great sound and feel and a nice trajectory. He gifted it to me on the third hole after push slicing for years he said. The TaylorMade AeroBurner Driver features an aerodynamic shape that helps to increase club head speed. The shaft is longer than standard in a bid for extra length for all levels of player and this was certainly noticeable and took some getting used to. I prefer a driver head that looks a bit more chunky than this one with its 'tailing' at the rear and because of the longer shaft, the head looks a little smaller, lessening confidence at set up. The Taylor Made Burner SuperFast driver generates distance through speed. It's not for everyone i would say, I myself am not a big fan of the design or looks but for my golf game it's awesome so far! The TaylorMade Burner 460cc driver is very easy to hit and get airborne.
