What makes El Diablo different is that it is a true "flow through" exhaust system. From there, free flow aftermarket catalytic converters could be added downstream, after the exhaust gas velocity had an opportunity to accelerate out of the engine, allowing for the most LEGAL gas velocity allowable. We chose for the exhaust to terminate with it's 3" diameter tubing just past the bumper opening on the right side of the vehicle. It has been used for about 2,000 miles and is still in mint condition! To minimize the potential of cracking tubing and increase strength, we chose to mandrel bend as much of our exhaust as possible, and to minimize TIG welded portions of the exhaust.Where's the tip?
